The stop is quite spacious and produces large dark shadows that generate overwhelming sensations. The staircases lead to a bridge that at first might appear to offer convenient commute to the opposite side, yet a number of features are designed in order to eliminate and reverse this potential affect.

The upmost elements,
those in direct contact with the sun, represent the concept of light. This includes
perpendicular beams that are joined together by glass frames and the applied dark
texture which symbolises light beams in an abstract manner.

The plinth amalgamates
both concepts, where the light texture, having more positive space, embodies
the idea of lightness and an abrupt transition between landscape and structure accentuates
a destructive quality. This is strengthened through the irregular and uneven platform
that in turn guides circulation and serves as seating mechanisms.

Experiencing the stop
through the perspective of a driver illustrates a balance between continuity of
repeated geometry and a chaotic environment that is accompanied by fragmented
patterns.

A composite of black and white allow the bright pink colour inspired by Barragan to stand out. This dramatic atmosphere is enhanced as the bridging system creates a sense of detachment where the absence of a balustrade and redundant stairs instigate an uncomfortable experience.
